SimonTakesANap is a tech house DJ and producer based in Redondo Beach, playing LA County and San Diego.

He describes his sound as a hypnotic, bass driven groove, with room to move anywhere inside EDM across a set, which usually means something lands late that nobody saw coming. He plays best in the hour before peak, and what he's confident in is song selection, making the moments feel natural instead of forced.

EDC 2010 was his first rave, and it sat with him for more than a decade before a friend put the idea of DJing in his head in 2023. A John Summit set settled it. Before any of that, eleven years of classically trained violin in a youth symphony orchestra.

Two and a half years behind the decks and a year and a half producing, with original music on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud and YouTube, most recently "Bring Me The Rhythm." He holds a recurring residency on Twitch at Mike's House.
